Southern Hostesses love to serve Southern food at parties. Aunt Lizzie's Cheese Straws are a staple at Southern tailgates and parties. They have been made in Memphis for over 20 years, and are a local favorite that rivals BBQ and fried chicken. The ingredients are simple enough (cheese, flour, margarine, salt, and spices), but making cheese straws is anything but easy. Have you ever tried? Trust me, it "ain't" easy! This Southern Hostess recommends buying Aunt Lizzie's instead of making your own... if you're feeling adventurous, you can try the jalapeno cheese and sun dried tomato straws too.
