How wonderful is this basket of mismatched flatware?! I spotted this gorgeous basket on the street outside an antique shop in Notting Hill on my 2010 trip to London. Ever since I took this photo, I have wanted to collect mismatched flatware and keep it in a basket like this one on the kitchen table or counter. This flatware was very simple (nothing fancy) and still looked fabulous! I like how casual it looks - I think a basket of mismatched flatware would be fab at a dinner party! But you don't have to go to London or scour antique shops, Southern Hostesses can buy mismatched flatware from Cake Vintage (they're based out of Nashville... love that) for $30 a set! Yay!
